110-volt electric breaker hire.  The Hilti 3000 110-volt electric heavy breaker is a large powerful breaker that can break out up to 150 mm of concrete comfortably. With a powerful 2000W motor producing a max of 62J impact energy; it is one of the best breakers on the market. The Hilti 3000 is the perfect tool for many jobs including breaking concrete, asphalt, screeds plus much much more. We supply bits with this concrete breaker, point, chisel and bolster and charge a single sharpening charge of £2.00 per bit taken.

Rates quoted are for one week. After a week a 25% daily charge is applied on days 8, 9 and 10 and then a full 2nd week’s hire charge is applied.

Features of the concrete breaker 

• The Hilti 3000s has superior demolition power compared to 45 kg air-powered concrete breakers.
• 10% lighter and new handle to help grip and control the breaker
• Less AVR meaning lower havs, meaning longer usage time with the concrete breaker
• Low maintenance brushless motor, so less downtime.

Q – What is the maximum depth that this breaker will go down to? A- Approximately 18 cms / 7 inches. This is a rough guide and dependant upon the make up and condition of the concrete.

Q – What PPE should I wear when using the heavy breaker? A- Ear defenders, dust mask, safety specs and work boots PPE . Please adhere to vibration limits .

Q – any hints and tips? A – Use the machine to dig vertically and do not attempt to lift broken concrete, otherwise you risk snapping the tool. Don’t push too hard, allow the machine to do the work.

Q – Does this machine come with bits / tooling? A- Yes, but they are charged for separately on a monthly basis, rather than weekly.

Q – I only have 230-volt power available. Which transformer and leads are required? A – 3 Kva 16-amp transformer and 16 amp 110-v leads (maximum number, 3).
