Large concrete floor grinder, HTC800 triple head planetary grinder. The 800 can grind or polish a wide range of surfaces including concrete, screed terrazzo, marble plus much more. This machine has a revolving 34.4” (135 cms) head fitted with 3 plates, each with 3 diamond shoes spinning in the opposite direction to the main head for a flawless finish without swirl marks. It has easy to use controls and an adjustable handle for ease and comfort. It has a 50 mm dust outlet to connect the floor grinder directly onto a dust control unit.

Diamond shoes can be hired out on a wear charge basis. Please contact us for details. We ask that you do not use PCD or T-Rex substance removal shoes with this large concrete floor grinder.

Requires a 415 v 3 phase, 32 amp 5 pin socket.

Rates quoted are for one week. After a week a 25% daily charge is applied on days 8, 9 and 10 and then a full 2nd week’s hire charge is applied.

Q – For what applications is this floor grinder polisher most suitable for? Grinding or concrete polishing medium and larger areas. It will prepare a floor, grinding down a residue or keying / roughing up a too smooth surface to enable a later product to bond. there is no benefit. This machine will also polish concrete from a smooth surface to exposing aggregate to polishing concrete to mimic marble or granite. Variable speed is essential if you are polishing the surface with ever finer grits of grinding shoes or discs.

Q – Which is the most suitable vacuum dust control unit for this floor grinder. A – We recommend the larger 3-phase vacuum dust control unit such as the Husqvarna D60.

Q – What power supply does this floor grinder require? A – 3-phase, 32-amps, 415-v, 5 pin with the neutral connected, the white box on the wall with a red socket. In the absence of a supply, you will need to hire a 40 Kva generator or higher.

Q – Which tool holders do I need? A – Depends on what application you are undertaking. The default holders are the standard ‘knock on’ or EZ toll holders (floor grinding or PCDs). Upon request, we can supply Fenix (concrete polishing) or Velcro (concrete polishing and wood sanding).

Q – what diamond grinding shoes / tooling is required to use with this floor grinder? A – We can hire you 16 (aggressive), 30 (general purpose) or 80 (fine) grit shoes on a mm wear basis. Alternatively, we can sell to you the above as well as a range of polishing shoes and pads.
