Petrol Floor saw, 450 mm (18″) diamond floor saw for use when cutting concrete, terrazzo, granite, asphalt plus much more. Water fed to keep down dust and cool down the cutting blade. This machine can cut a straight line to depth of 15 cms (6″).Rates quoted are for one week. After a week a 25% daily charge is applied on days 8, 9 and 10 and then a full 2nd week’s hire charge is applied.

If you can bring back this hire item early, then we can offer the following price reduction:

• 1 day hire: 40% reduction.
• 2 days hire: 20% reduction.

Machine supplied with 18″ (46 cm) diamond blade. Wear is charged at £50.00 per mm minimum wear charge.

FAQs –

Q – What is the maximum depth that this saw cut to? A – 178 mm (7 inches)

Q – Will it cut 178 mm in a single pass? A – No, it will only cut approximately 65 mm (2.5 inches) per pass, dependant upon the hardness of the surface. Several passes may be needed to go deeper than that.

Q – Does this saw attach to a dust control unit? A – No. Dust is supressed by water. Remember to keep the reservoir topped up at all times.

Q –  What PPE should I wear? A – Hard hat, safety specs, work boots and hi-vis clothing.

Q –  What fuel should I use?  A – Regular unleaded petrol.
